BIBLICAL PROPHECIES FULFILLED

1. 100% Accuracy
The test for a true Jewish prophet is 100% accuracy. And so it is true that every biblical prophecy has come to pass, except for the prophecies about the end of the world (since that has obviously not happened yet). Astounding! But true.

2. Destruction of Jewish Temple
It is written in Matthew 24:1-2 that "Jesus left the temple and was walking away when his disciples came up to him to call his attention to its buildings. 'Do you see all these things?' he asked. 'I tell you the truth, not one stone here will be left on another; every one will be thrown down.'" And this prophesy was fulfilled in every detail in 70 AD when the Roman armies under the command of Titus, destroyed the Jewish Temple (along with Jerusalem). It should also be noted that "not one stone here will be left on another" was also fulfilled. In fact, when the Roman guards found gold in between the bricks, they took the entire temple apart, brick by brick, to get the gold, not leaving one stone on another.

3. Fall of Jerusalem
Luke 21:24 prophesies, "They will fall by the sword and will be taken as prisoners to all the nations. Jerusalem will be trampled on by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled." And in 70 AD--as told in the above article--Titus and the Roman armies under his command destroyed Jerusalem and its temple. And the Jews, for the next almost-2000 years, fell under the sword, being persecuted and killed. And Jerusalem was trampled on by Gentiles in that time period. But the verse also prophesied that that time would come to an end, when the "times of the Gentiles are fulfilled." And that happened in June 1967, during the Six Day War, when Israel miraculously defeated their enemies under overwhelming opposition, and then recaptured Jerusalem.

4. Desolate Holy Lands
Ezekiel 38:8 says that one day, after the Jews are scattered, the Jews will be regathered as a nation. Ezekiel says about this Israel: "whose people were gathered from many nations to the mountains of Israel, which had long been desolate." And indeed, Israel had been laid waste, or desolate, for many years. What had once been the fruitful Promised Land, sat for 2000 years, as a barren and desolate land, fulfilling the prophecy in Ezekiel chapter 38.

5. Hated Jews
Deuteronomy 28:37,65-66 prophesies about the Jews, "You will become a thing of horror and an object of scorn and ridicule to all the nations where the Lord will drive you. Among those nations you will find no repose, no resting place for the sole of your foot. There the Lord will give you an anxious mind, eyes weary with longing, and a despairing heart. You will live in constant suspense, filled with dread both night and day, never sure of your life." And from 70 AD on, the Jews have been a hated people! Who can overlook the harsh persecution of the Jews by the Spanish Moors, the Russian pogroms, the Roman Catholic Inquisition, the Nazi Holocaust and now today, the Extremist Islamic Jihad group? Throughout history, Jews have been blamed for everything from disease outbreaks to a bad economy. This prophecy was indeed fulfilled in the fullest.

6. Jerusalem
Zechariah 12:2-3 prophesies, "I am going to make Jerusalem a cup that sends all the surrounding peoples reeling. Judah will be besieged as well as Jerusalem. On that day, when all the nations of the earth are gathered against her, I will make Jerusalem an immovable rock for all the nations. All who try to move it will injure themselves." And today, Jerusalem clearly is the biggest stumbling block to peace. Both Palestine and Israel claim Jerusalem as their capital. It is an immovable rock that stands in the way of peace, just as prophesied.

7. Hebrew Language
Zephaniah 3:9 prophesies that one day, God would purify the language of His people, so that they could all honor Him with one consent. The Hebrew language was dead for thousands of years, but just years ago, a man named Eliazar ben Yahuda, a Palestinian, revived the Hebrew language, restoring the 7,000 words and adding new Hebrew words for modern items. And the Hebrew language has now become the state language in Israel, so that the Jews can all serve God in a pure language, exactly as prophesied.

8. Jewish Temple
Daniel 9:27 prophesies that there will one day be a Jewish temple again during the end times. While this has not yet happened, (because we are not yet in the Tribulation), many Jewish organizations have already prepared models, blueprints, ritual instruments and have even already been training Levitical priests. We are clearly heading toward a day when the Temple will stand where it should.

9. Dividing Up Land
Daniel 11:39 prophesies that when the Antichrist comes, he "shall divide the land (Israel) for gain." It is also interesting that the heart of the Middle East peace process deals with trading land for peace.

10. Knowledge
Daniel 12:4 prophesies "But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased." It is amazing, yet somewhat eerie, that from late BC to the Middle Ages (mid AD), there was hardly any technological changes or revolutions. Things started to pick up pace in the 1600's and steadily rose into the 1800's, and then suddenly, knowledge and technology exploded! In 1876, the telephone was patented. In 1885, the gasoline engine was invented. In 1903, the first airplane was built. In 1926 the television was born. In 1928, penicillin was discovered. In 1943, the first computer was built. 1945 was the year of the atomic bomb. In 1957 the first satellite was launched into space. In 1953 the DNA molecule was mapped. In 1969, Neil Armstrong became the first man to walk on the Moon. In that same year, the ARPA-Net--the Internet's predecessor--was completed. In 1982 genetic engineering entered the world. And not to mention space shuttles, fighter jets, personal computers, cell phones, helicopters, modern medicine, laser surgery, holograph technology, etc. And to think that there were hardly any technological revolutions from 1 AD to 1000 AD, while 1900-2000, went from horsedrawn carriages, old-fashioned medical treatment, and rifles to cars, laser and robotic surgery, and the nuclear warhead. Knowledge has more than increased.

11. Mark of the Beast Technology
Revelation 13 prophesies that the Antichrist will advocate a "mark" on the entire world, and this mark will be used to both buy and sell. In the last decade or so, a new technology has come about, called the "Verichip" (produced by Applied Digital Solutions). It is the size of a grain of rice and is easily implanted under the skin by a syringe prick. It has already been used for quite a while on animals by veterinarians. Now, it is becoming useful for humans. In fact, just recently in early May 2002, a family in Boca Raton opted to take this implant. The technology is catching on and will soon be able to be implimented by Antichrist, when he comes, just as prophesied.

12. The Eastern World, It is Exploding... (In Population)
Revelation chapter 9 prophesies that a great army of 200 million will come from the East. Now, in that day, that was unimagineable! The population of the entire world was only 150 million at the time. But it just so happens that in these last days, the population of the Eastern world has exploded. China and India alone comprise 40% of the entire global population. With two billion citizens over there, an army of 200 million becomes a reality. The Bible's prophecies have been, and are coming to pass.

13. Wars
In Matthew 24:6-7a, Jesus prophesies: "You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. Nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom." And how the rate and magnitude of wars has increased in history! Let's just take a look at American military history for instance.

Year(s) of War Name of War
1775-1783 American Revolution
1812-1815 War of 1812
1846-1848 Mexican-American War
1860-1865 Civil War
1898 Spanish-American War
1914-1919 World War I
1941-1945 World War II
1945-1991 Cold War
1950-1953 Korean War
1956-1975 Vietnam War
1991 Persian Gulf War (Desert Storm)
1991-Present Iraqi-US Conflict
1999 Kosovo War
2001-Present War on Terrorism
As you can see, it is quite astounding. There was only one American military involvement in the 1700's. Then in the 1800's, there were approximately four major U.S. wars. Then as we entered the 20th century, we found two World Wars at our doorstep! Unthinkable. And as we progressed further we found six more wars. And the year we entered the 21st century, we found ourselves in yet another war. These wars are so common now, that we have found ourselves in a war one year and then in another war the next. There are some wars that we are still fighting! Such as the Iraqi-US Conflict and the Afghanistan War. Jesus' prophecy in Matthew 24 couldn't have been fulfilled any fuller.

14. Earthquakes
In Matthew 24:7b-8, Jesus prophesies: "There will be...earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of birth pains." If you know anything about birth pains, you know that they get more frequent and more fierce as time progresses. And so it is with earthquakes. In Peter and Paul Lalonde's book "301 Startling Proofs and Prophecies" (p.248), a timeline is given of seismological history: "According to sources from Energy, Mines and Resources Canada there were, from 1900 to 1969, about 48 earthquakes that registered at 6.5 or more on the Richter Scale. This is an average of 6 per decade. From 1970 to 1989 there were 33 earthquakes measuring 6.5 or more. This is an average of 17 per decade. From January 1990 to July 1990 there were 10 earthquakes of 6.5 or greater. This is 10 major earthquakes in just six months. And from July 1990 to October 1992 there were 133 earthquakes which measured at 6.5 or greater. This averages out to be 600 per decade." Astounding, isn't it? The Bible is right once again.

15. Increase in Violent Behavior
In Luke 17:26, Jesus said that the last days would be like in the days of Noah. Genesis 6:11 describes the days of Noah as being "filled with violence." Now if we compare this prophecy to today, we will find that the violent crime rate in America has increased by more than 560% since 1960! And the Bible warned us about this increase in crime during the last days from almost 2000 years ago.

16. Homosexuality
In Luke 17:28, Jesus also prophesied that the last days would be like the days of Lot. In those days, the world was known for its homosexuality. Just read the story of Soddom and Gomorrah! So, according to Jesus, there would come a time when homosexuality would once again get out of control. And so it has. With the push for Gay Rights, Homosexual Parenting priveleges and books like "Daddy's Roommate," "Heather Has Two Mommies," "Zack's Story," and "Anna Day and the O-Ring" becoming required reading curriculum in schools, we find ourselves hurtling headlong into biblical prophecy and endtimes judgment. The Bible told us this would happen millenia ago, proving the trustworthiness of God's Word.

17. Unholy
II Timothy 3:2 prohesied that in the last days, "People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy." And who can deny that that is what the world is today? People are focusing on themselves and their own potential, claiming that they are in God and God is in them and they are God. Look at the humanistic movement. People are lovers of money today, especially in America. There is so much of a push on being successful at the cost of others in this time period. Today, people are boastful, proud, abusive, very disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, and very, very unholy. The Bible already knew this though. So it should not come as a surprise.

18. False Prophets and Counterfeit Christs
Matthew 24:5 prophesied that in the last days, false teachers and fake Messiahs would arise to deceive many. And who can forget Jim Jones, Sun Myung Moon, Benny Hinn, Kenneth Copeland, Rabbi Menachem Schneerson, David Koresh, Luc Jouret, Maitreya, and the rest of the new age leaders and false prophets? Who can deny the Bible truly was right about all of this?

19. Falling Away
II Thessalonians 2:3 prophesies that in the last days, there will be a falling away from the faith. Many who claim to be Christians will rise up and lead great numbers away. In the December 1987 issue of Pulpit Helps, a survey was done among 7,441 Protestant pastors, asking them if they believed the Bible is the holy, divinely inspired Word of God. 87% of Methodists said no. 95% of Episcopalians said no. 82% of Presbyterians said no. And 67% of American Baptists said no. And don't forget the Anglican Bishop of Edinburgh who says that adultrey is in our genes. And don't forget the priests who are falling away from the faith, renouncing Jesus' divinity and raping innocent children. The Bible is right again, knowing what was going to happen, before it happened.
