DARK KARNIVAL NEWS...

(5-4-06)We've changed the format of the show alittle, we're moving forward with turning Dark Karnival into more of a horror film show so we've tinkered with the guest list alittle in the past couple of days and lowered the price of admission. We hope this will bring in more people to the show since more people can afford now to experience the Dark Karnival event.(3-7-05)A legend has been added to our guest list, Jonathan Haze. Jonathan not only starred in the original Little Shop Of Horrors he also co-starred with Boris Karloff (the original Frankenstein) and Jack Nicholson in The Terror, Jack was also with Jonathan in Little Shop Of Horrors. He also was in the original Not Of This Earth, and Day The World Ended. Besides that he acted in tons of Roger Corman movies and continues to act to this day. There will be tons of guest's coming this year that aren't listed on the main page of the website including the always popular Carl Merritt's Promo Models, professional comic book artist Stanlee Houston, Josh Maldonado who's CEO of the erotic horror film company Doorway Productions, Killer Nerd and Townies director Wayne Alan Harold, horror author Aaron Wesbrod, comedy horror director Ricky Fusselman & The Get Fresh DSK Crew, horror director Stephanie Aldridge, and many others. (3-5-06)Keep checking back later this week as we will be adding a big horror legend to our guest list for Dark Karnival 2006. Here's a hint, he's been in one movie with Boris Karloff and two with Jack Nicholson. (10-27-05)Dark Karnival 2006 will be right around the corner after Dark Xmas, we're bringing you another great guest list again this year. So far we recently booked Alex Vincent who played Andy Barclay in Child's Play and he was the star of Child's Play 2. There are many great guests we are talking with so check back soon.(3-7-05)Another special guest has been added, this time it's one that horror fans will appreciate, Robert Z'Dar who was the star of Maniac Cop 1, 2, and 3. Robert was also featured in Mobsters with Christian Slater, Tango & Cash with Sylvester Stalone, Frogtown II with Denice Duff, Beastmaster II with Marc Singer, and Soul Taker with Joe Estevez.(2-29-05)The new guest was announced today, Aron Eisenberg who is best known for playing Nog on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, he was also a special guest on an episode of Voyager. Horror fans know him for his roles in Puppet Master III, Amityville IV, and a Tales From The Crypt episode.(2-27-05)We have a new guest and yes this ones big, especially if your a Star Trek fan or Puppet Master fan, their name will be announced in the next few days and yes they are 100% confirmed and no they haven't been in this area ever before. Here's a hint, they were a series regular on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, as well as appearing in Puppet Master III and Amityvill IV with Patty Duke.(1-31-05)We are very pleased to announce that Felicia Fox will be this years guest of honor. She is an award winning film star and will also make her horror debute in Travis Bowen's Shadows In The Woods filming in October and November 2005. Comic book artist Stanlee Houston has also joined the guest list.(12/11/04)The location and date for the new independent film convention Dark Karnival has been confirmed. The show will also bring in not only independent film guests but also a few major celebrities as well from the horror and sci-fi genre. The guest list will be posted soon. We've decided to run with a very long Saturday one day show instead of spreading this first show out for an entire weekend, we're also charging half of what most shows charge because we want to encourage everyone to come and try this new kind of show out. We're going to mix it up and make it alittle bit different of a set up than most of the conventions in this area.
