My other Favorite Things....

This is my 'Obsessions' page, filled with things from my childhood, or just random pop-icon objects I love--and--uh--yeah....Go--and--look...

Rainbow Brite! (cartoon) How could you not love 'Rainbow? I spent many a days as a young child watching Rainbow and other rerun 80s cartoons, and still love her to this day.

CANDY!

The Rocky Horror Picture Show (movie) Oh man, I was watching that from the time I was born. And I still love that movie to this day, and it is one of my (Frank-N-Furter voice)'favorite obsessions'.

Bedtime Bear! (cartoon) I love all the Care Bears, but out of them all I'd say Bedtime is my favorite.

Fairies. I know it's so 'Goth' to say that, and I'm not, by all means, but I do love fairies with a passion. Especially Brian Froud drawn fairies. For those of you who didn't know, Brian Froud drew the designs for most of the puppets on the movie Labyrinth.

The Cheshire cat of Alice in Wonderland. (movie) I've always loved him sooo much. I used to watch Alice in Wonderland all the time just for him. The movie was released recently last year, and I bought it the day it came out. Goddamn that is one cool cat!

Johnny The Homicidal Maniac. This picture stands not only for Johnny, but Squee, Noodle Boy, Invader Zim and all other Jhonen Vasquez creations. ::bows down:: Send him your soul today and win a free trip you hell! Don't worry it isn't so bad...unless, you happen to like Daily Cleanser.

Audrey Hepburn. You may know her from movies such as Breakfast at Tiffany's, Sabrina, and Holiday Romance. I don't know why I idolize her so much, but I've always thought she was a beautiful woman. She used to be--I don't know if she still is--very popular in Japan...Wanna know why? Her neck.

The young Judy Garland! Okay, I just love The Wizard of Oz and watched it over and over again as a kid just for her. I think she was gorgeous, and had a beautiful voice.

Davey Havok of AFI! A Fire Inside; They're a great band, and Davey only makes them that much better. He'll be the sexist soccer dad you'll ever see one day.

Anime! I love anime. I mean, I reaaally love it. When I'm not busy with school, I'm either reading Manga or watching Anime. Everything from InuYasha, to Fooly Cooly. Since the 80s went out, American cartoons haven't been the greatest, which is why I turned to Japanese animation, and I've never regretted or turned back since.

The Nightmare before Christmas (movie) was without a doubt my favorite Cartoon as a child, and who would have guessed as a teenager it would still be, and I don't doubt for a minute it will been when I'm 50. This movie is so much of an obsession of mine, I've been planning an NBC wedding for years, even though I hate the idea of being married. But you can bet your liver I'll have the most kick-ass wedding ever.

For along time I was ashamed of this secret obsession of mine, until I woke and one morning and realized: Who gives a fuck! For a long time, I was very 'tomboy' and then I realized that just wasn't me, and why was I wasting my time hiding behind a label, and being afraid of people finding out I love the color pink, or that I think Hello Kitty is the coolest! Once, Hello Kitty was out there, there was no stopping me. And I've been so much happier since. Being myself and not giving a fuck is so much more punk rock then some kid in the mall with a mohawk could ever wish to be.

Hedwig and the Angry Inch! (movie) My newest obsession. I absolutely love this movie and everything else about it. I think it sends a good message, I think it deserves more credit then it gets, and more then anything, what's not to be loved about a transsexual punk rock singer from East Berlin singing about his sex change and ex 17 year old lover, who stole all his songs? It's funny, deep, and meaningful. Go Hed-Hed!

My long running battle with Denny's 24hour breakfast menu. Yum, Yum!

::cough:: Errr, yeah. ::twitch::
