Welcome to the RGD Sudden Strike Forever Map Archive
Below
you will find the finest multiplayer maps for your downloading pleasure
- we at RGD have amassed a fair collection over the last 18 months and
here are some of the finest for you to try out. Simply right click and
"save as" the existing file name, then bang the map (mapname.smm) into
your Program Files/Sudden Strike/Maps/Mplay folder. Boot em up and fire
away!!
THE MAPS
127 -
Party
map of the highest calibre - 3v3 - Each player gets LOADS of units
including a smorgasbord of heavy tanks and TDs, infantry and 6 generals
to boot. Massive air resources too + if your bombers and transport
planes survive they have 99 loads to drop!!! AWESOME - good for a blast
to relieve some stress!
GUADALCANAL -
4v4
and what a cool map - an island divided down the middle by
water and cliffs - only a smattering of flags and not the hugest amount
of units to tinker with. You get a general and 5 arty pieces plus a few
tanks and snipers - easy to camp but lots of options for attack -
marvellous.
BATTLE OF THE
MUPPETS -

BDB DASZENTRUM -

BRAVO FORCE -
a 4v4
with central river and lots of toys left on the battlefield to pick up
BUNKERFRONT -
A
cool 3v3 map - the centre is only accessible by blasting holes in the
rows of Dragons Teeth separating No-Mans Land. Fight for the middle flag
groups which give HUGE amounts of Paratroops, Bombers and supply planes
(which drop 45mm AT guns :). Loads of AA, AT and Mortars to capture for
defence - careful use of airpower is required or your well planned
airdrop will get shot to shit!
CASINO ROYALE -
3v3
map
FRONTSCHWEINE -
An
outstanding 3v3 map currently a big favourite amongst SSF players. A
tactical nightmare/dream with lots of play options for campers and
rushers alike. Clever use of armour and snipers is required and losing
your General can make your job extremely tough indeed.
GRANATSPLITTER -
5v5
map with lots of units to play with - a central river to cross,
generals, arty and loads infantry
HEART OF IRON -
5v5
map
LEAGUEMAP 2a -
An
excellent conversion of Vengeance and the map all of the UKstrike
clan league maps are played on. This is a superb 5v5 with plenty of
tactical options, a good amount of units including plenty of infantry
but no General. Each clan has their own tactics for this map and the
sheer brilliance of it is that you can counter your opponent's move -
if you can guess what he's doing before it's too late. Enjoy
NARVIK -
An
Oldie but a goodie (a bit like RGD Railwayman) this icy 3v3 map is still
a good map after all this time. Lots of snipers, mortars and artillery -
loads of buildings to hide in and killing zones for your troops.
NO MERCY -

OPERATION
OVERLORD -

Sick Puppy's second attempt at making a multiplayer map comes out good -
a 3v3 map based around Omaha beach featuring realistic unit balancing
and plenty of AA, AT and MGs to capture on the battlefield. Capture the
Airfields for extra air-support and your laughing!

An unusual map which looks rather ....tasty on the minimap :)
SCOTCH MIST -
An
unusual 3v3v3v3 map which is a refreshing change from the usual 2 sided
affairs
STALINGRAD 3v3 -
Excellent Map playable 3v3 or 4v4 with lots of units, good flag
positioning and some serious carnage
