This was my introducing paragraph into the game (albeit edited).

Two had fallen with her: Temar was crushed on the rocks, his body shattered. It was a gruesome sight. Elthan: she could hardly tell his remains from the bits that remained of him. His once bright clothes were red and his guitar in shards beside him. She could see it was only his body which saved her from death. It pained her to see this. She had once enjoyed more than Elthan's songs. All that would forever be gone.
Adrienne closed her eyes and tried to clear her mind for a moment. Concentration on the moment she focused her thoughts on her Goddess. Slowly the sounds of battle filtered through to her filled mind. She snapped her eyes opened; she could not stay her. But the dead had to be taken care of.

She would burn the remains. There was no time nor strength for a mound. She went through her belongs and found on of her flasks of oil. The seal had cracked and it was leaking. She went to pour it over the corpses.
She let out a sound has pain reminded her of her ankle. She needed to take care of herself first. Finding her goddess' symbol around her neck she prayed silently:

Help me heal the my own pain to ease that of the dead_ (Cure light wounds)
Adrienne poured the oil across the bodies of her companions and then fumbled for a moment with her tinder box to start a fire she set to fabric and oil. She could only hope it would grant her friends peace.
