Adrienne’s mother is Melantha. Her father is a cleric she never knew except thru Melantha’s strange stories of love and horror. Brothers and sisters, Adrienne knows of none.

When Adrienne was 5, Melantha started teaching her the skills of a thief. They worked together as master and apprentice until Adrienne was 16. Then Adrienne left her mother and master to gain her own space.

Wandering from place to place, practicing her skills, and learning new ones, Adrienne became good friends with Kotha, a human thief. A few years later Kotha gave up his occupation of thievery and became a Paladin saying he had found his old ways wrong. He encouraged Adrienne give up her old way as a thief and become ‘true’ and ‘righteous’. Adrienne refused, mourned at the lost of her best friend, and set out on her own.
