Skins FAQ

How do I download and use a Winamp skin?

To use a skin, you must first have Winamp. It's freeware, and there is a link to a site where you can download it on the Downloads page. To download and use a skin, follow these simple steps.

1.) Click on the picture representing the Skin you want to Download. Chose "Save to disk" option.

2.) When it asks you where you want to save the skin, go to directory (C:), go to your programs folder, then your Winamp folder. In your Winamp folder should be another folder labeled "Skins" save it there.

3.) When you open your Winamp, it will most likely have a gray/black default skin. To change it to the one you downloaded, click the small box in the upper left-hand corner. A menu will come up, and on that menu it will say "Skins" click on this, and then select the name of the Skin you want to change it to. If you have saved it into the skins folder, it will come up as an option on this menu.

How do I make skins my self?
