On July 20, 1969, I vaguely recall my father getting my younger brother and I out of bed and bringing us into the livingroom of our home. My mother was sitting in her chair and pointing to the tv. History was being made before my young eyes. Man was literally about "to boldy go where no man had gone before." The first man from earth was about to step out onto the lunar surface. It was 2 months before my 5th birthday.

Even at that young age, I was fascinated and inquisitive about what was going on. Thinking back, this is what would be the beginning of my life long fascination with the lunar missions, science fiction and space in general.

Recently I watched a tv show making accusations that the lunar missions were faked. Coincidentally, around the same time I recieved a chain e mail making similar grandious claims. Although it is lengthy, It does raise some interesting points.

However, all are debateable. Which I intend to do. But, I make no claims to be an astrophysicst or to possess any advanced degree in any of the fields of study involved that I will answer to. But, I do prefer to think of myself as an intellegent American and I am merely stating my opinion. In the end, you will make yours as well.
