Curse of Banshee: Guinness, Brawls & 'Riverdancing' [Part 7]!

by ALM_Voyager

"All you gotta do," Ensign Parkson said with a slur, "is walk over there and give one big POW in his face . . ." he hiccuped, "and she's yours Commander."

"I'll remember not to put that in the log, Ensign," Chakotay tried to steady the man on his feet.

"Not a bad idea, Chakotay," Tom said seriously, a little too seriously. "After all he IS a hologram."

"He's the CAPTAIN'S hologram!" The doctor practically shouted and was shushed by the small group of men who had gathered around Chakotay.

"Why don't you sit down with the man and get to know him," the doctor suggested and everyone but Chakotay turned a glare towards him. "It was only a suggestion," the Doctor muttered.

"And a fine one at that," Michael's voice came into the groups party suddenly causing poor Harry Kim to jump.

"Sorry to interrupt," Michael gave a small grin. "You're welcome t'join Katie and me, Commander. I understand that you're good friends from working t'gether so much. Is that the case?"

Harry gulped. Ensigns Parkson belched. Tom Paris winced. The Doctor covered his eyes with his hand. And Chakotay, well Chakotay just smiled.

"That's exactly right," the Commander stated. "Which table is yours?"

"The one with that beautiful lass o'mine," Michael winked.

"B'Elanna!" Tom called out surprised as the Klingon woman approached the group at bar counter. "I thought you weren't coming . . . if I was going to be here," he echoed words from earlier. B'Elanna had made it clear that she held Tom responsible for the black eye Seven had given her. Part of the Captain's 'punishment' for the two fighting women was that the doctor couldn't use the regenerator on them.

"'You'll both just have to suffer the consequences . . . and perhaps next time you'll remember just how painful all of this nonsense was . . . and make sure not to repeat it a second time,'" the Captain had smirked and stalked out, loose corset strings and all from sickbay.

"Yeah, well, I came to see Chakotay break an ankle or two . . . before I break yours," she turned her angry eyes towards him.

"What are you talking about?" Harry asked and stepped back as B'Elanna shot him a glare as well.

"Ever heard of the 'Riverdance' program in the holodeck directory?" she asked.

"Uh no," Harry said.

"Just wait and see," B'Elanna hit the bar, ordering a strong drink.
