A portion of a previously released wide angle photo of a starship and unfinished face in Syrtis Major is on the left above. There were at least eight with similar quality and virtually indistinguishable differences in the landscape. But, look at the photo on the right released today, October 8, 2002. It is cleary a different landscape. If somebody didn't mess with the data and since there hasn't been any major erosion for at least millions of years then what explains the changes in the landscape on the right from the one on the left? [Source: Keith Phillips]				Once upon a time there was honesty and never any doubts. The starship is still there. We assumed the crew was dead or gone up until now. When we examine the changes in the landscape we see that there has been some dramatic movement of surface material. Unless, of course, the data has been messed with.
