Hayden Christensen, The Chosen One?
Rumors have been spreading like wildfire that Hayden Christensen has been cast as the new Anakin. Hayden stars on the Fox Family Channel's "Higher Ground." He is 19 and apparently got the part because of his compatability with Natalie Portman.
Hayden Christensen has been cast as Anakin Skywalker in Episodes 2 and 3. Now it appears Lucasfilm will make it official very soon. Here's one report, apparently written by a coworker of Hayden's on Higher Ground, that several people notified us about: Anyway, I guess the Lucas camp is trying to keep the announcement under wraps until Monday - they want to do a big spread in Time Magazine!! Can you imagine?? We all went out last night to celebrate and needless to say Hayden is thrilled, in shock, etc. The expectation for a media blitz surrounding the announcement has since been repeated by numerous sources. We have also heard that Lucas and co. might be revealing more about the story of Episode 2 soon. Be sure to visit Bantha Poodoo often as we'll be sure to be on top of it! |
