Blackarachnia
Beast mode is a black
widow spider. This beast mode is extremely well-crafted, except for her
feet showing on her butt, and her grappling hook stuck on it also. The
detailing is exquisite, and all eight of her legs can move, although the
articulation ends there. The fangs seem a bit big proportionally, though,
and the abdomen seems a bit small.
Robot mode is also nice,
with few extras. Although this robot mode doesn’t look all that much like
Blackarachnia on the TV show, it does have the same basic body structure,
with her spider legs sticking out of her arms, that also can double as
missles for a gun with a large grappling hook. The spider legs do not get
in the way much, though. However, the string attached to the hook may get
in the way and get tangled a lot. Her claws aren’t nearly as big as those
on the TV show, and her legs are somewhat short. She is a repaint of Tarantulas,
and although Tarantulas’ colors are, in my opinion, better, these colors
are a little more realistic in beast mode.
A nice transformer with
few extras, and an extremely nice beast mode.
