Beast mode is that of a blood-red manticore; that is, a red lion with the black wings of a bat and the red tail of a scorpion. He is slightly bigger than Rhinox in this mode. His wings are huge, about the size of a dragon's in comparison to his body. He is VERY well-built and strong in this mode.
    Transformation: Manticore head folds down, becomes chest. Lower lion legs swing down to become robot feet. Scorpion tail swings to behind his head, like Scorponok's. Upper lion legs fold up and feet split to form claw-hands, like the original Dinobot's. Wings fold back behind his back, and do not shrink, but fold like Silverbolt's. Size enlarges to slightly smaller than Rampage.
    Robot mode is very fearsome. His robot head has large, sharp teeth visible from inside his mouth, and his mouth is almost always arranged in an evil grin. He has two large "ears" on the top of his head, like the original Cheetor's. He is still mostly blood-red in this mode, with the exception of his black wings and his silver robot head. His claws are very sharp on both his feet and arms. He is very muscular, even more than Rampage in this mode.
    Personality: Loyal to Scourge-- after Megatron bit the dust, his respect for his former leader transferred to his new one, given how effortlessly Scourge dispatched the Predacon leader.  Considers everyone else a weakling except for his leader. Rampage and Scourge are the only two people that can ever beat him in hand-to-hand combat. His voice is deep and menacing.
    Weapons: Dual katanas. This is his only weakness; he has no long-range weapons.
