Last update: May 7, 2000. The Black Wall is a fantasy play-by-email campaign run by Yoon Ha Lee with assistance from Andrew Toth. Information will be available here as well as through the AD&D/RECFRP list. LURKERS are welcome to look on: join the conference. Email the listserv from the address you want to use with the message "subscribe ad&d-l" or talk to your local BBS sysop about fidonet. To get off the list, you can send "unsubscribe ad&d-l" to the listserv from the email address with which you're currently subscribed. If you're having problems, talk to me or contact the moderator, Scott Royall. The campaign is run in freeform style despite nominal AD&D trappings. Future applicants may submit characters as freeform (description of skills, background, profession, etc.) instead of using AD&D. NOTICE: Anything character-related should be considered the "property" of the player who created him/her. The background files (e.g. NPC's, world background) are mine. I make no exclusive claim on the archives; a pbem move is a collaborative effort between GM(s) and player(s). All clipart, etc. is credited either on the page where it appears or amongst the Links. All the gold-edged bars came from 3rd Shift Gifs by Kevin Sullivan. AD&D is a trademark of TSR, Inc.
NewsInstructions on how to subscribe to the AD&D/RECFRP conference are now listed above. I tested the listserv on a backup account yesterday and, cheeringly, it worked. If you have trouble figuring it out, email me. PLAYERS: Would you like this campaign to continue running on the AD&D/RECFRP conference, or would you prefer a private mailing list? Email me with your thoughts, or respond on-echo. If any non-players have opinions, your thoughts are also welcome. Give feedback on the Black Wall, whether you're a lurker or player.
