Of course, humans are everywhere. They work day after day, oblivious to the sinister things around them, they keep a watchful eye on the shadows and are ready to fight or flee at a moments notice, or they work in darkness alongside those who would seek to destroy the human race.
Humans are by no means simple cattle or cannon fodder, nor are they expednable messengers. They hold the balance of the two worlds together simply through numbers. Nevertheless, that still doesn't mean that everything gets along just peachy. The police and other emergency workers constantly have to deal with 'special' circumstances as pertaining to inhuman situations. Also, there are the anit and pro movements constantly clashing, sometimes in not-so-friendly confrontations, to the right wing extremists that take the law into their own hands.
