The Amish Farmer
In a small town in upstate New York, Kevin and Linda moved into their dream
home. This house had been moved from a nearby town to its present location, when
the state wanted to flood the area for a reservoir for New York city.
The couple had made many renovations, adding a second story, a front porch, and
a kitchen wing. Shortly after all the work was completed, strange things began
to happen. Kitchen cabinets would open and close, things would be moved and both
Kevin and Linda saw a man standing by their shed, which had also been moved with
the house.
They both describe the man as looking like a farmer, he was tall had a full
beard and was dressed in overalls and was wearing a straw hat, similar to what
an Amish farmer might wear.
Although Linda was not frightened by this man, she felt that he was looking for
something or someone. She began her search for someone to help this man find the
peace that he needed to move on. She contacted us and we set up a date to meet
with her at her home.
After talking with Linda on the phone. the man "visited" Debbie one
night at her home. He said his name was James Stienson and that the year was
1917, there was an accidental death associated with the shed caused by a hitting
on the head and strangulation.
The next day Linda phoned Debbie to say that she had found out some more
information about the man and the house. She learned that his two children had
died accidentally in the shed one had been hit in the head and the other had
strangled. The day after the funeral of the two children, James who was so
distraught by their deaths had killed himself. The year was 1917. Linda also
found out that they had moved the church and a lot of the houses, but they did
not move the cemetery. She believed that this is were the children are buried.
Rev. Larry began the deliverance prayers in the dinning room, where James had
been seen last. He prayed thru the house, around the property and the shed.
After the ritual Debbie "saw" two young boys running towards a now
smiling James, James said thank you.
