The Ghost in Our House
People come to us all the time with complaints of strange sounds in their house. These sounds range from the very faint almost inaudible sounds to loud thunderous sounds that practically knock plaster off walls. But haunting to a house is not exclusive with just sounds, things can move, persons can see in the peripheral vision something walk by, there can be strange light shows in the house and the list can go on. But also in the case of paranormal investigators your house can become haunted because of the work that we do. Our house is a classic case of a haunted house, Larry and I believe that our haunting is different as it acts like an "early warning" system to alert us to a new case. During a recent investigation of a man that was having paranormal problems in his house strange things began to happen at our house as well. First we both noticed ghost orbs that seemed to blink on and off around our bedroom at night. A few would stream out into the hallway. A few mornings later we went into the kitchen for breakfast and noticed that the cats heavy stainless steel dish was upside down on the floor. The water and food were all over the floor. Thinking that perhaps the cat did not like his new food we just cleaned up the mess not really giving it much thought. That night while we were watching TV we heard what sounded like pans clanking together. We both got up and went into the kitchen and found that this time the cat's bowls were thrown across the kitchen floor and up against the washing machine. Knowing that the cat could not possibly had done this we figured it must be a ghost, or our "early warning" system. A few months later I got up early one morning while it was dark and went into the office to do some work on the computer. Just inside the door I encountered a small dark creature that was about 3 feet tall with red glowing eyes. I soon found out that there was a family that was experiencing the same thing a few states away that contacted us later that day for help. Many times in the middle of the night Larry will hear me call him or I will hear him call me, although we are asleep right next to other. Many times we will hear people calling our names but there is no one there. One time I heard a woman screaming Larry's name three times. We looked all over but could find no one calling him. We can be watching TV at night and "see" people walking around the other rooms. We also hear clicking sounds, doors opening or closing, and footsteps in vacant rooms. Larry has lived here for over 20 years and up until the time he got involved in this line of work has had nothing like this happen in the house. Most of the time the house is quiet but just before a case and during a case things act up. |
