Southern Demon
We got a call from a woman in Tennessee that was being bothered by an incubus. An incubus is a demonic entity that attacks women in a sexual manner, there is a counter part called a succubus that attacks men, since demons are neither male or female, they are either male or female depending on the sex of the human that they have set their sights for. The demons do not get sexual pleasure from these attacks, rather their pleasure is from the demeaning attack. At first the attack of the woman that we will call Sarah began subtle like most of them do, her and her husband Jim at first heard knockings and things would be misplaced. They at first thought nothing of it finding rational explanations for the knockings, mice or squirrels in the walls and they even found explanations for the misplaced items. This all stopped when one morning after Jim had gone to work, Sarah woke up to find a large snake coiled on the foot of her bed. Startled she flew out of bed and out of the room, once she calmed down she went back in the room to find the snake was gone. Even after looking all over the bedroom she could not find the snake or any sign of it. Soon things began to escalate, the entity turned its attention to Sarah and it began to scratch, bite and punch her. She could never be sure of when it would attack her so she stayed home. Sarah tried to attend mass at her local church but found that even there the demon would attack her. It would not let her receive communion, when she tried the demon would cause such a terrible body odor and bad breath to come from her that people would turn and notice her. As she tried to go to confession the demon began to rape her their in the church causing her to contort so that everyone noticed. Sarah refused to leave her house. The sexual attacks continued becoming very brutal she was raped and sodomized continually. Most of the time Sarah feels like there is a weight on her back almost as if there is a child or a backpack strapped to her. Around the house both her and Jim see strange lights and dark shadows. She sought help from her priest and was told not to worry as the lights were a sign that a saint was around her. She has seen a huge gray cloud and in this cloud she has felt the presence of Satan. She also feels that while she sleeps, Satan takes her into a very deep abyss, when she awakes she is left with a feeling of total despair and isolation. She again spoke to her priest and he told her it was because of the book that she was reading, "The dark night of the soul" by St. John of the cross. He also told her that she was not really experiencing these attacks. A few years previous Sarah had a nervous breakdown, but she knows that this is not what is happening to her now as with the nervous breakdown she was not able to function with the nervous breakdown but after the demonic attacks she can go on with her normal daily activities. Jim also does not believe that the attacks are demonic, he believes as the priest does that it's Sarah's imagination. During these attacks he leaves her alone to fight through them by herself. Shortly after arriving at their house, Larry began reciting the ritual, Sarah sat quietly in the chair with her head down as if in prayer. Suddenly her body began to contort and sway and she stood straight up in the chair and began to babble in some unknown language. Jim assured us that she did not know any other language other than English. She continued to babble and to sway as if she were a snake being hypnotized by a snake charmer. Larry continued to pray as Jim and I tried to get her to sit back down in the chair. Suddenly she screamed and said "Satan is lord over all." Although Sarah is a tiny woman, it took all of Jim's and my strength to get her back in the chair seat. Sarah continued to talk in English now the words coming from her were dirty and blasphemous. As her body continued to sway like a snake, her tongue began to flick in and as if she were indeed a snake, she began to lick our arms. As she continued to declare that Satan was lord. Soon she began to cry that she felt like a sword was being stuck in her stomach but she wanted us to continue with the prayers. She soon became quiet and bent over. We began to notice an over powering smell of vomit and excrement, the smell cause everyone to gag. Soon the smell dissipated along with Sarah's body movements. All remained quiet. Larry finished the ritual and we all looked at Sarah. Slowly she raised her head and she seemed to glow with an inward beauty. She said that she felt wonderful and that she felt that the demon had gone. It had been over three hours since the ritual had begun and we all felt certain that the demon had indeed left. Sarah reports that she is now able to go to mass and to receive communion and go to confession without any attacks or smells around her. Updated 9/26/02Saran no longer sees any lights, shadows or gray clouds. The sexual attacks have stopped. She no longer feels a weight on her back and is now able to go to mass and to leave her home without fear of being disabled by demonic attacks. Today she is working and carrying on a normal life without the fear of demons lurking about waiting for their chance to attack. |
