Me? I am a dull dark hue
of deep midnight blue.
Deeper than any could imagine
because I carry a thin
outer layer of reflective silver,
shiny so people see whatever
they want, but, you see,
the silver is slowly seeping, like mercury
into the depths, going thru the blue
and intermingling. Eventually, when the hue
and shine mix and mingle,
happy like a sing-song or a jingle.
I will be a glittery sky blue
in and out, thru and thru.
