Info: There were only a few of the Encyclopedia classes made. They were the only colony ships until the new colony ship cavalcade came. The Ship can carry millions of beings on hypersleep or live freely. Many of the old Gigerdi Federation colony worlds were established by using the Encyclopedia Classes. The Ship carries everything that is needed to establish a new colony, including biosphere domes and terraforming equipment. The minimum crew can be connected to the Mainframe computer known as the “Watcher”, to monitor the ship while they are in hypersleep or sleeping regularly. At least one of the Encyclopedia classes were destroyed by unknown forces at Planet Moghris 7, 200 years ago.

Info: Colony Class colony ship is quite old and not really used anymore. It was designed about 15 years before the Gorg war to be one of the main colony ships. For ten years it was used really a lot and many of these colonized several planets to the Gigerdi Federation. Later then during the five year time its usage was limited, but it still colonized several worlds. Colonies always carried quite a lot of people and equipment to start a new colony. Usually Colonies were escorted by fighters or some capital ships because of their weak defenses also because the new colony also needed protector vessel(s) and fighters. In the Gorg war colonizing pretty much stopped, but as soon as it ended Colonies started their mission again, though Builders had came to service now, which did limit the usage of Colonies. They became more transports than really colony ships, still they are even currently used quite a lot as a colony ships, though they do serve as transports as well.

Info: Designed shortly after the Gorg war ended. They then started slowly take the position of the most used colony ship. Builders were an upgraded version of the Colony, since Builder was bigger and had more space for future colonists and equipment. It also had slightly better defenses, but still it required protection. Builder is rarely used as a transport due to its large size. Builders are pretty much the standard colony ship currently in the GA.

Info: Caretakers aren't used so widely. Only is a planet is wanted to be colonized quickly. Caretaker was designed 5 years before the Gorg war, but none were built because Colonies handled their job well. Caretakers are also used to evacuate planets quickly, this was their main job during the Lightness war. First Caretakers were built shortly after the Gorg war, only one was built then. Second then few years later and third not long after the second. Only one Caretaker has colonized a planet and the ship has been used to make equipment for the colonists. The other Caretakers have just landed all the people and equipment and then left. Lightness damaged one of the Caretakers during the Lightness war when this Caretaker was evacuating one GA planet. Caretakers aren't used as a transports normally, only if necessary or if planet is needed to be evacuated. Even that Caretakers do have better defenses than all the other colony ships, it still requires escorts. Currently Caretaker is not so widely used as a colony ship.

Reactors: Two Antimatter reactors and two large fusion reactors.
Info: Constructor was designed at the same time than the Colony so it's quite old. Constructors accompanied Colonies many times since Constructors then helped in building of building and stations to the planets or moons, which had just been colonized. Constructors were built a lot during the time when they were designed. Always at least one Constructors goes to a newly colonized planet to help it in building everything its citizens need. Constructors don't carry all the equipment needed to form a new colony that's why colony ships carry equipment as well. Constructors usually carry industrial replicators and other equipment that is needed to create a good and nice colony.
