Info: The Washington class dreadnought was the
initial idea of the Emperor Kyle Gigerdi. At the end of the first civil war,
the Independent Gigerdi Federation was testing a new kind of weapon code named
The Heavy pulse cannon. The original idea was to mount the huge
Heavy pulse cannon to the soon ready flagship of their fleet, but the weapon
still needed some field testing and a pre-made hull was attached with a smaller
prototype of the weapon. A design pulled out of the docks just weeks ago was
called the Washington class. It was used to field test the cannon
in the Dominion war. The smaller cannon was attached to several hundreds of
these Washington classes in the past months. So the cannon was attached to
the front of the ship in the Pyramid section, taking 2\3 of the space the
ship needed for other weaponry. It was a very bad idea, most of the original
weapons were gone, the ship had minimum defenses in it. Also other bugs came
up, usually when the prototype cannon was fired it sucked all of the ship's
other power out. Meaning that all the weapons, shields and targeting systems
were gone for two straight hours. Usually when this happened, the ship was
destroyed by the opposing forces. So when you got an assignment to Washington
class dreadnought
it meant a suicide on those days. Also, it was slow
as a turtle" and "it turned like a centaurian "mud pig
said many of the survived captains. It used a simple Hyperdrive
as its main jump drive and the standard gravimetric drive as the propulsion
system. There are still some of these Washington classes left. They still
appeared in the Lightness war and some of the conflicts after it, but some
of the border patrol fleets still might have them.

Info: Sovereign is old, but extremely powerful
dreadnought. Like the Galaxy class, Gigerdians decided to do a modified version
of the Human Sovereign, which has more firepower, but lesser shields. One Sovereign,
G.F.S. Sovereign was in the secession war and in the Dominion war. It served
as a command ship for Fleet Admiral Haken, who was loyal to Mad Gigerdi's official
government, so Fleet Admiral Haken was constantly looking for the Kyle Gigerdi's
forces and even engaged in battle with them once, which proved the effectiveness
of the Sovereign. Fleet Admiral Haken didn't agree on the forming of Gigerdi
Alliance and tried to use his Sovereign to somehow prevent it, but he was captured
and then court-martialled for this. G.F.S. Sovereign was also seen in the last
battle with Dominion's forces where it destroyed several Dominion vessels. After
the Dominion war several other Sovereigns were built and more was coming. Some
Sovereigns were modified to be more effective during the Lightness war. Sovereigns
were extremely effective during the Lightness war, they held off several Lightness
attacks and could resist even bigger Lightness ships at least for sometime.
About 14 Sovereigns survived from the Lightness war. Some of them were seen
in the GA-IPA conflict as well and in the past Emissary conflicts several Sovereigns
have been seen in battle.
Here's picture of Sovereign from it's side.

Info: Peace is really old design. The construction
of first Peace class started before the time of the Gorg war and at that time
it was the most powerful ship Gigerdi Federation had ever had. The first Peace
Class G.F.S. Peace came into service during the
Dominion war, it also became the flagship of the GF fleet. Peace wasn't seen
much during the Dominion war, but it did serve as the flagship of Mad Gigerdi
during the Gigerdi secession war. Immediately after the first Peace class was
finished another one went into construction and it was completed little before
the Lightness war, although it came a lot later than the original Peace, it
still had pretty much the same technology. It took about eight years to build
one Peace class ship. During the Lightness war the G.A.S. Peace was destroyed
in one battle against the Lightness's forces. Both Peace classes were used a
lot to evacuate planets during the Lightness war since Peace classes have also
been made to evacuate planets quickly. The second Peace class ship was also
heavily damaged and went into space dock where it currently still is, it's going
through refit at the same time due to it's outdated technology. It's possible
a new version of Peace class is being or will be designed.
Manxx Class Dreadnought
Max. Crew: 45 000
Min. Crew: 10 000
Length: 8143, 28064 km

plasma cannon, Two rotating Antimatter turrets, 45 torpedo launchers, 29 Light
pulse cannon turrets, Two plasma fusion discharge wave cannons, 44 Antimatter
particle beam batteries, Six capital ship missile launchers and Interceptor
grid.
Shields: Very Heavy Phased Shields Mk23
Special Equipment: Advanced sensors, advanced communications,
sensor jammers, communication jammers and cloak detectors.
Fighters: 396 fighters.
Cargo space: 400 km³
Capable of landing to planet: No.
Capable of atmospheric flight: No.
Info: There are only 1 of these Manxx class dreadnoughts
constructed, named after Emperor Kyle Gigerdis personal ship as the Sanctuary
2. Although, the Name was never used as Sanctuary 2 Only as
Sanctuary. The ship was constructed by the Independent Gigerdi Federation
after the first civil war. It took several years to complete, but it was a joint
project of the recently discovered Texian Hive and their discoverer Kyle Gigerdi.
The Manxx had a secret weapon up its sleeves, the 2 warp nacelles at the back
of the ship were the completed version of the Heavy pulse cannon,
which fired a beam that could rip through 9 ships at once. The Independent Gigerdi
Federations new weapon was now completed and was used several times in
the conflicts there after. After the signing of the treaty which founded the
GA, the Sanctuary was stated as the second flagship of the Gigerdi
Alliance military along with the Peace class dreadnought, which
was the first flagship. The Sanctuary has several decks for fighters and carries
several dozens of fighters. The Bridge section of the ship was at the front,
but was heavily shielded by armor, weaponry and shields. The only setback was
that the ship had no auxiliary bridge against the possibility of a bridge knockout,
although an auxiliary bridge was constructed to the main engineering after the
Raider wars of 3356. The Sanctuary has been at the dry dock twice, it was used
by Rebel leader Nix Balmorra to save Gigerdi Prime from destruction by the system
killers, it was the first time it had to stay on dock. The second time was after
the lightness war when it was attacked by lightness cruisers just after the
initial signing of the peace treaty with the Lightness. The Sanctuary is still
in a dry dock, being repaired by the damage of the Lightness war. Time will
tell if the damage can be repaired. Recently Senator Dolux of Gigerdi Alliance
senate informed the Office of warfare that there might be a new Manxx class
dreadnought constructed, But there were several responses from President Dalleer
himself telling that there are no plans for a new Manxx class being made.
Korax Class Dreadnought

Info: Korax is perhaps just a newer model of the
Sovereign, their weapons and shielding are pretty much the same kind of. Still
Koraxs are currently used more than Sovereigns. Korax was designed just a little
before the Lightness war ended, and only one Korax class ship was able to be
on a battle against the Lightness forces, though it seemed that Lightness first
wanted to destroy this new kind of ship, so it was destroyed quite quickly in
the battle, still it was able to inflict some damage to Lightness's ships. Some
Koraxs also were in the GA-IPA conflict and in the past Emissary conflicts.
Currently about 31 Koraxs are in service and are pretty much the primary dreadnought
in the GA military.
