Peace Station was built by the Hemmoians. It was built to prevent wars between different races. Peace Station was
online four
years before it was changed into a museum. However, even after that it was operational although it was no longer the "center of everything". Several incidents have occurred there even after it was left alone. The station used to house ambassadors from every major race. Most of them lived in the Gigerdian sector. The station certainly wasn't quiet place when it still was active. It was under attack more than once and was sabotaged several times. The odd building built under the station were constructed by several different races, hence they look different. Currently it's still sitting quietly in its little corner of the galaxy.
