Section 18

The Section 18 is the Gigerdi Alliance's top intelligence gathering and Telepathic regulation agency. The Section 18 has 3 other branches that all are affiliated with the Telepathic council and the Section 18.

THE TELEPATHIC POLICE FORCE

The Telepathic police force serves as an Intelligence gathering agency, the administrative form of the GA telepaths. The GA constitution requires that all Gigerdian telepaths must be registered to the Section 18, meaning that the Telepath will get a job from the section 18, an individual can acquire any kind of a job from the Telepathic police force or other branches, as long as he/she works for the Section 18. The Telepathic police force is currently the largest branch in the Section 18, and continues to grow. The Telepathic police force employs three sub-branches, the Administrative, Telepathic Police force, and the Commercial wing. The Administrative division controls the Telepathic police force, giving orders to the Police force and the Commercial wing. They decide on all-important decisions inside the Police force. The Main Police force serves as a Security provider for the S18, Intelligence gathering unit, and has a job of hunting down known terrorists/Rogue Telepaths that may not wish to join the Section 18, the Hunting of Terrorists is one of the most important jobs that the Section has. The Commercial wing is the smallest Office, assigning Telepaths to the roles of Assistants/Secretaries to the GA Political office or other organization/Company that might need them. The Police force mainly accepts recruits from Telepath ranks, requiring several years of training to become an Agent, but the earlier experience is highly valued too. The Commercial wing is the easiest of the three; the training is only a few weeks in required form, but it is mostly for the telepaths, too. The Administrative branch requires a long and spotless career in GA civilian administration, or a commendable career in the other Section 18 branches.

THE INTERNAL INVESTIGATIONS DIVISION

The Internal investigations division handles the investigations of Internal crimes made inside the GA and the Section 18. Mainly handling the investigations of terrorist actions that might be made by the IGA's member states. The second role is to hunt down and prosecute the offenders that have committed crimes against the GA and mainly the Section 18, the Internal investigations has extra ordinary power inside the Section 18 and GA hierarchy. All members of the Internal investigations are agents recruited from the Telepathic police force, or are already members in the higher echelons of the Section 18 The Internal Investigations has wide ties to the GA political office, while they are mainly engaged in the handling of internal Crimes made by the various GA related organizations and companies.

THE RESEARCH DIVISION

The Research division coordinates, directs, and performs highly specialized activities to protect GA information systems and produce new weapons and equipment for the Section 18. A high technology organization, The Research division is on the frontiers of communications and data processing. It is also one of the most important centers of foreign language analysis and research within the Government. Section 18's Research division conducts one of the GA Government's leading research and development programs. Some of the Agency's R&D projects have significantly advanced the state of the art in the scientific and business worlds. All of the Projects that the Research division conducts are all classified, meaning that the GA military has no data of them along with the Governmental branches. All of the Scientists and Section 18 personnel have been also recruited from inside the Section, meaning that a person joining the ranks must have been working inside the Section for quite some time.
