and was the first UFP carrier, it was still used for many years. New Worlds
was mostly used in the small conflicts against pirates and raiders, but it
was also in the wars that were against
the Folans and Vemrers. New Worlds was designed about 90 years ago and was
good ship at that time. Still it was used as long as to the Gorg war, but
already during then New Worlds had lost its position as the main carrier
and only few of these were still in use, all others had been decommissioned.
One New Worlds survived from the Gorg war, but it was destroyed by the Dominion
then later.

Info: Gigerdos was made few years before the Gorg war and the name Gigerdos came
from the alliance between the humans and gigerdians that had been in place
for hundreds of years and so UFP named one ship in memory of this alliance,
which was called as the Gigerdos alliance when it was formed. This ship's
another name was also Utopia, but that name was later totally abandoned.
Gigerdos proved to be a lot better carrier than the New Worlds and so it
was used a lot in the Gorg war and after that in the Dominion war. In both
wars it proved to be an efficient carrier. Even in the Lightness war Gigerdos
proved to be quite effective, even that it wasn't as effective as it had
been against the Dominion or the Gorg. Gigerdoses continued to serve even
after the Lightness war and were also seen in both GA-IPA conflict and in
the Emissary conflict. Pretty much the main carrier in the Starfleet.

Info: Grenade is the most powerful carrier
that Starfleet has. It was designed just little before the Lightness war
and during the war it proved to be more
effective than the Gigerdos. Grenade is bigger and more powerful than the
Gigerdos, however their speed and maneuverability is quite the same, but
generally Grenade is better than the Gigerdos. Still Grenade and Gigerdos
are both used pretty much the same amount. In the Lightness war, Grenade
proved to be useful because of its large supplement of fighters. Many Grenades
served in the war and survived from the war and are still in service. Grenades
were also seen in both the GA-IPA conflict and in the Emissary conflicts.
