Info: Tau Class is an old design and isn't used anymore. First Tau Classes were seen before the Gorg war started, where they were a next generation destroyer, but ever since it has slowly lost its position. Tau class was designed to be a next generation medium and light destroyer, so even at the time it was built it was already quite weak. Taus quickly lost their position as a medium destroyers and became one of the light destroyers in Starfleet, which were used pretty much only to destroy small targets or to perform patrols and scout missions. Taus served Starfleet well during the Gorg war, but not so well in the Dominion war and when the Lightness war started Taus had already lost their position so much that no more were built and some had already been decommissioned. Lightness also liked kicking Taus' assess pretty much since Lightness destroyed almost lots of Tau class destroyers during the Lightness war. Only about 2 Taus survived from the Lightness war, these were even considered to be historical ships, because of their old age. One of those Taus were decommissioned and the other one was changed into a museum, even that Taus never really were any special ships. Currently the last Tau is orbiting Alpha Centaury 2.

Norm. crew: 450
Min. crew: 10
Cargo space: 300 m³
Capable of landing to planet: Yes.
Capable of atmospheric flight: Yes.
Reactors: Two large Antimatter reactors and one large fusion reactors.
Info: Hong Kongs were made to replace Taus. Hong Kongs came into service just little after the Dominion war ended and immediately replaced Tau destroyers. Hong Kong is faster and more maneuverable than the Tau, but has little lesser of weaponry, but still poses threat in groups. Hong Kongs were widely used in the Lightness War in, which they mostly served as a fighter killers sometimes as light capital ship killers. Hong Kongs were used a lot in attacks in the Lightness war, mostly because of their incredible speed and great maneuverability. After the Lightness war, Hong Kongs have been seen multiple times in the past conflicts, more notably in the Emissary attack to Gigerdi Prime, where there were over 50 Hong Kongs. More Hong Kongs are in production in Starfleet and seem to be big part in the Starfleet armada.

Defiant Class Light Destroyer
Engines: Four medium impulse engines.
FTL drive: Jump drive MkI medium version.
Size length: 400 m
Size width: 370 m

Shields: Energy shields 5 000
Special Equipment: Cloaking device and cloak detectors.
Fighters: None.
Max. crew: 800
Norm. crew: 90
Min. crew: 2
Cargo space: 100 m³
Capable of landing to planet: Yes.
Capable of atmospheric flight: Yes.
Reactors: One medium Antimatter reactor and two medium fusion reactors.
Info: Defiant was designed only for battle purposes. The first version of it was designed shortly after the Dominion war begun and thus the Defiant became extremely important and used during the Dominion war. At that time the Defiant's primary weapons were the pulse incinerator beams, which proved to be extremely effective against the Dominion ships. Several of the Defiant classes were built during the Dominion War. However, also quite many of them were destroyed. Defiant packs quite a big punch in quite small ship. Defiant is also extremely fast and maneuverable, which makes it deadly in any battle, however it doesn't have so good shielding, but does have quite good armor, compared to its size. The new version, which was equipped with the new fusion cannons was designed during the Lightness war and proved to be quite effective against Lightness. However, it wasn't so good against bigger Lightness ships. Still many Defiant classes were destroyed during the war. After the war, slight modifications were made to them, but nothing too serious. Several Defiant classes have been seen during the past conflicts, in which few have been destroyed. Currently a new type of Defiant class should be in designing, one that would be part organic.

Akira Class Medium Destroyer
Engines: Five heavy impulse engines.
FTL drive: Jump drive MkI heavy version.
Size length: 11,5 km
Size width: 5,7 km
Armor: Average capital ship armor.
Weapons: Classified!
Shields: Classified!
Special Equipment: Classified, probably sensor jammers.
Fighters: Unknown.
Max. crew: 19 000, cannot be confirmed.
Norm. crew: 5 500, cannot be confirmed.
Min. crew: 40, cannot be confirmed.
Cargo space: Unknown.
Capable of landing to planet: Unknown, presumably no.
Capable of atmospheric flight: Yes.
Reactors: Three large Antimatter reactors and Four large fusion reactors, exact numbers remain unknown.
Info: Akira is quite new design and has been kept in secret quite much. The reason why not much information about this vessel has been released, is because only few of them have been seen and not any good sensor scans have been able to be made. That's the reason why it's suspected that the Akira has some kind of new sensor jamming system that prevents almost any scans. It's believed that this is some sort of prototype ship that was probably designed against Lightness, but because only one, that can be confirmed, was seen during the war, it couldn't be used so well. After the Lightness war few sightings have been seen and it has been confirmed that at least eight of these ships exist in the Starfleet, more detailed numbers remain unknown. Akira itself seems to be quite powerful, fast and maneuverable, making it a powerful destroyer. It is believed that they were designed only for battle purposes, but since really none of this info can be confirmed that cannot be confirmed either.

Constellation Class Medium Destroyer
Engines: Four heavy impulse engines.
FTL drive: Jump drive MkII medium version.
Size length: 9 km
Size width: 4,6 km
Armor: Average capital ship armor.
Weapons: Eight heavy Incinerator Beams, 24 medium Incinerator Beams, 45 light Incinerator Beams and three torpedo launchers.
Shields: Energy shields 300 000
Special Equipment: Advanced sensors and advanced communications, quite a lot of science equipment.
Fighters: Unknown.
Max. crew: 14 000
Norm. crew: 5 000
Min. crew: 20
Cargo space: 1 km³
Capable of landing to planet: No.
Capable of atmospheric flight: Yes.
Reactors: Two large Antimatter reactors and two large fusion reactors.
Info: Constellation isn't so old design. Even when the Constellation was designed, which was during the Dominion war, it wasn't really powerful. It contained more science and exploration space and equipment than weapons or some defensive equipment. It's unknown, why this ship was actually designed as it pretty much only appeared in battles, even that it wasn't designed to be in those. Some rumors exist that why this was the case and the most believed one is that it was only experimenting some new technology, however that cannot be once against confirmed as Starfleet won't give much of any info of this vessel. Lots of Constellations were built after the Dominion war, even that they didn't prove to be so effective in the Dominion war. By the time of the Lightness war, Starfleet seemed to had mysteriously lost several Constellations and continued to loose them in the Lightness war. Mostly because Lightness pretty much just ate these ships for breakfast. After the Lightness war the number of Constellations just got smaller and only few have been seen in the Emissary conflicts in, which all of those were destroyed. After that, no sightings of Constellations have been made, only few rumors of some Constellations wondering in the outer rim territories. Currently it remains unknown are these ships still in service.

Prometheus Class Medium Destroyer
Engines: Five heavy impulse engines.
FTL drive: Jump drive MkI heavy version.
Size length: 12 km
Size width: 4 km
Armor: Average capital ship armor.
Weapons: Unknown.
Shields: Unknown.
Special Equipment: Unknown.
Fighters: Unknown.
Max. crew: 17 000
Norm. crew: 4 000
Min. crew: 40
Cargo space: 2,5 km³
Capable of landing to planet: Yes.
Capable of atmospheric flight: Yes.
Reactors: Two large Antimatter reactors and three large fusion reactors.
Info: Prometheus is really old design, it came into use even before Gorg war. It was one of the most powerful ships in Starfleet before the Gorg war, but since then has constantly loosen its position in Starfleet. Prometheus have had to be upgraded several times because of its old technology. Prometheus does go fast, but has poor maneuverability, which was one reason why it slowly went out of use. In the Gorg war it still was a good ships against the Gorgs, but already in the Dominion war it started to loose its importance and in the Lightness war it lost that totally. Prometheuses were no match against Lightness forces, mostly because of their maneuverability, but also because of their poor weaponry. No more were constructed after the Dominion war. In the Lightness war many of them were destroyed and after that only few remained.

Here's a picture of Prometheus.

Steamrunner Class Heavy Destroyer
Engines: Six heavy impulse engines.
FTL drive: Jump drive MkII heavy version.
Size length: 14 km
Size width: 11 km

Cargo space: 5 km³
Capable of landing to planet: Yes.
Capable of atmospheric flight: Yes.
Reactors: Four large Antimatter reactors and Six large fusion reactors.
Info: Steamrunner is really powerful and also quite new ship. It was designed specifically to fight against Lightness ships. However not many of these were built during the war, but still they did prove to be extremely efficient against the Lightness ships. Even that the Steamrunners showed to be extremely powerful, their speed and maneuverability still placed them more as a defense ship. During the Lightness war, some of these ships were built and few were also destroyed. Still they proved to be good defense ships. Several of them still survived from the war and some of those were seen in the GA-IPA conflict, when Starfleet sent few of these ships to protect few IPA colonies. Also several of these were placed to patrol UFP borders during the conflict. Also few Steamrunners were protecting Gigerdi Prime when the Emissaries attacked. Steamrunners seem to have earned their place as one of the main defense destroyers in UFP.

Nuke'em Class Heavy Destroyer
Engines: Six Heavy impulse engines.
FTL Drive: Jump Drive MkI heavy version.

Min. crew: 4
Cargo space: 2 km³
Capable of landing to planet: No.
Capable of atmospheric flight: Yes.
Reactors: Three large Antimatter reactors and three large fusion reactors.
Info: Nuke'em is also another ship that was designed specifically against Lightness. Nuke'em was designed to carry a lot of weapons, but still have better speed than like Steamrunner. Also Nuke'em has some fighters unlike Steamrunner. However Nuke'em proved to be a lot worse than the Steamrunner class. Still Nuke'em continued to serve in the Starfleet. Quite many of these were destroyed during the Lightness war and even that these were pretty much meant to nuke some Lightness ships, it seems that Lightness nuked more these. Still quite many survived from the war and were seen in the past Emissary conflicts. None of these really were in the GA-IPA conflict. However all the Nuke'ems, in service at the time when was the attack to Emissaries' control world, participated in the attack to Emissary control world. Also several were seen at both Gigerdi Prime and Aldaain during the Emissary attacks. Currently Nuke'ems seem to be one of the main attack destroyers, even that ships like Gemini MkII are used more.

Here's picture of Nuke'em in space.

Gemini MkII Class Heavy Destroyer
Engines: Nine heavy impulse engines.
FTL drive: Jump drive MkII heavy version.
Size length: 12 km
Size width: 4 km
Armor: Good capital ship armor.
Weapons: 11 heavy Incinerator Beams, 41 medium Incinerator Beams, 90 light Incinerator Beams and four torpedo launchers.
Shields: Energy shields 240 000
Special Equipment: Cloaking device. advanced sensors and cloak detectors.
Fighters: 52 fighters.
Max. crew: 18 000
Norm. crew: 4 500
Min. crew: 10
Cargo space: 4 km³
Capable of landing to planet: Yes.
Capable of atmospheric flight: Yes.
Reactors: Four large Antimatter reactors and five large fusion reactors.
Info: Gemini MkII is bigger, faster, more maneuverable and more powerful than the MkI. Gemini MkII was designed after the Lightness war, but was still pretty much designed against Lightness, however none of these ships were able to fight against Lightness. Almost immediately these ships came into service they became one of the main attack destroyers in the Starfleet. Being more powerful and faster than like Nuke'em and Steamrunner. Gemini MkII was first seen in battle in the GA-IPA conflict where several of them were seen. They posed quite big threat to GA forces at that time. At least one Gemini MkII class ship was destroyed in the conflict. Next time these were seen in the Emissary conflicts where three were damaged, and one was damaged almost beyond repair, that vessel was, however, later decommissioned and used to build a new one. Currently Geminies are the main attack destroyers.
