Size width: 40 km
Armor: Heavy capital ship armor.
Weapons: 130 heavy Incinerator Beams, 379 medium
Incinerator Beams, 547 light Incinerator Beams, 20 torpedo launchers.

Special Equipment: Cloak detectors, advanced sensors,
advanced communications, sensor jammers, communication jammers and enhanced
long-range scanners.

Norm. crew: 25 000
Min. crew: 1 000
Cargo space: 10 km³
Reactors: 10 large Antimatter reactors and 17 large
fusion reactors.
Info: Starbase is the most used and most common
defense base in the Federation. It's also used as a small space dock and as a
living base. Still mostly its mission
is to protect large colonies, or sometimes certain important locations in the
system or certain bases. It was designed by human before the Dominion war, before
the Gorg war, a more smaller and weaker version of it had been in use. Starbases
are currently the main protector stations, all colony protectors are usually
upgraded to Starbases when the colony grows. Starbases proved to be valuable
in both the
Dominion war and in the Lightness war. When even one Starbase could hold the
attackers off quite well. Starbases also proved to be worthy in the GA-IPA conflict.

Nog Class Colony Protector
Size length: 14 km
Size width: 14 km
Armor: Excellent capital ship armor.
Weapons: 16 heavy Incinerator Beams, 81 medium Incinerator Beams, 234
light Incinerator Beams, 14 ion turrets and 12 torpedo launchers.
Shields: Energy shields 550 000
Special Equipment: Cloak detectors, advanced sensors,
advanced communications, sensor jammers, communication jammers and enhanced
long-range scanners.
Fighters: 40 fighters.
Max. crew: 45 000
Norm. crew: 9 000
Min. crew: 50
Cargo space: 4 km³
Reactors: Six large Antimatter reactors and five
large fusion reactors.
Info: When a planet is colonized, a Nog class colony procter is built to protect
the colony from any hostile forces that might threaten it. Later the station
is upgraded to a Starbase. Nog class was designed before the Gorg war, to be
the main colony protector before being upgraded into a Starbase. Nog classes
proved to be efficient in the Gorg war and in the Dominion war where they destroyed
several enemy ships even alone. In the Gorg war, mostly only after the shield
weakness was found. In the Lightness war, Nogs couldn't do much against any
bigger Lightness attacks alone, but it still could defeat smaller fighter attacks
or small or medium sized capital ship attacks.

System Shock Class Outpost
Size length: 11 km
Size width: 11 km
Armor: Excellent capital ship armor.
Weapons: 13 heavy Incinerator Beams, 65 medium Incinerator Beams, 112
light Incinerator Beams, two missile launchers and seven torpedo launchers.
Shields: Energy shields 290 000
Special Equipment: Cloak detectors, advanced sensors,
advanced communications, sensor jammers, communication jammers and enhanced
long-range scanners.
Fighters: 24 fighters.
Max. crew: 30 000
Norm. crew: 7 000
Min. crew: 10
Cargo space: 3,5 km³
Reactors: Four large Antimatter reactors and six
large fusion reactors.
Info: System Shock outposts were designed before
the Gorg war, to usually guard important areas in the borders, sometimes certain
important area, where Starbase is not
required. System Shocks also provide sensor and communication support. System
Shock are pretty much only guard outposts. Some System Shocks are also located
in the Andromeda and in the large magellanic cloud.

class outpost in space.
Rein Class Outpost
Size length: 200 m
Size width: 200 m
Armor: Light capital ship armor.
Weapons: One heavy Incinerator Beam, five medium Incinerator Beams,
12 light Incinerator Beam and two torpedo launchers.
Shields: Energy shields 50 000.
Special Equipment: Enhanced long-range scanners.
Fighters: One fighter.
Max. crew: 400
Norm. crew: 100
Min. crew: 10
Cargo space: 30 m³
Reactors: One large Antimatter reactor.
Info: Rein is the standard border outpost, which was designed about 40 years before
the Gorg war. They usually only guard the borders of the Federation and provide
sensor and communication support.

Studier Class
Science Station
Size length: 1 km
Size width: 1 km
Armor: Good capital ship armor.
Weapons: Five Light Incinerator Beams.
Shields: Energy shields 90 000
Special Equipment: Special science capabilities.
Fighters: One fighter.
Max. crew: 3 800
Norm. crew: 900
Min. crew: 10
Cargo space: 100 m³
Reactors: Two large Antimatter reactors and
two medium fusion reactors.
Info: Studier is the smallest science station Starfleet has. Usually Studiers are
used to study certain nebulae, anomaly, sun, planet, pulsar or some kind
of a storm. Studier is pretty much only used for a short term studying. Studier
class stations are always protected by turrets, ships or by some defense
stations. After the Studier has completed its mission it's either decommissioned
or transferred to a new location. It was designed about 65 years before the
Gorg war.

Inga Class Science Station
Size length: 10 km
Size width: 10 km
Armor: Good capital ship armor.
Weapons: None.
Shields: Energy shields 500 000
Special Equipment: Special science and research
capabilities, mineral scanners.
Fighters: 40
Max. crew: 35 000
Norm. crew: 20 000
Min. crew: 20
Cargo space: 2 km³
Reactors: Five large Antimatter reactors and one
large fusion reactors.
Info: Inga class science station is used to study
places more longer period of time. Ingas
usually orbit certain planets or nebulae that were there's something to be
researched or studied. Still rarely new technology is invented aboard science
station, even that it is sometimes possible. Inga class is the standard science
station in the Federation. It was designed about 31 years before the Gorg war. Inga
is always protected by turrets, ships or by some defense station.

Fighters: None.
Max. crew: 80 000
Norm. crew: 40 000
Min. crew: 100
Cargo space: None.
Reactors: One large Antimatter reactor.
Info: Standard Human shipyard. It can build most of Starfleet's ships and stations,
but not all the biggest, still they can be modified to build those, but still
they usually only build parts for those ships. The shipyard consists of several
industrial replicators.
