Unit Outline:
    The Faenok, a strange weather condition on the Mauro, the thrid planet in the Cardavian system, is a series of straight winds that can reach upwards of 200-250 kph.  As the name implies, the Faenok interceptor is built for speed and agility over brute strength.  While it is built for speed, it is still well armed and used as a first wave fighter and as a bomber interceptor.

System Specifications:
    The main weapons of the Faenok are two Space Grasers.  These S-Grasers have a longer range, and are much more powerful than their land based cousins, but have a significantly reduced rate of fire.
    The most powerful weapon of the Faenok, and one used most against bombers, is the single-tube Space MicroFusion missle launchers.  A more powerful, farther ranged version of the standard MF, the SMF-1 has an extremely long range and its accuracy and power is incredible.  Its missles are even useful against capital ships.
    The Badrok is is protected by 4 tons of ArMax armor, as well as a Type 5 HiCS System.  While this protection is light, it is powerful enough to deflect anything that can actually hit a Faenok.  Because of its agility, and the fact it's hard to hit a Faenok with a beam or projectile weapon, the HiCS System on the Faenok is geared specially for the deflection of seeking missles.

Operational Capabilities:
    The fastest and most agile of the KCDI fighters, the Faenok is used as a first wave fighter and as an interceptor for bombers.  Its good defense system combined with its moderate punch makes it lethal against slower, lumbering bombers, or against agile main battle fighters.  Besides being good interceptors, they are the premier dogfighters of the KCDI Fighter Forces.
