Unit Outline:
An ancient barbarian tribe from the northern most Cardavian continent, the Harkanos were feared by all they faced.  The heavy bomber that bears their name still inspires the same degree of fear in the hearts of enemies.  Its incredible amount of weapons and armor/shielding makes it nearly impervious to most smaller interceptors and makes it extremely effective against capital ships.

System Specifications:
The primary weapons of the Harkanos are six Space Grasers.  These S-Grasers have a longer range, and are much more powerful than their land based cousins, but have a significantly reduced rate of fire.
The longest ranged, and most powerful weapons on the Harkanos are the four, 2-tube Space MicroFusion missle launchers.  An more powerful, farther ranged version of the standard MF, the four SMF-2s have an extremely long range and their accuracy and power is incredible.  These are the main weapons against capital ships.
The Harkanos is protected by a massive 10 tons of ArMax armor, as well as a huge Type 20 HiCS System.  This combination of shielding and armor makes the Harkanos a tough nut to crack.  Only fire from capital ships or concentrated attacks from large fighters or bombers is enough to break through its defenses.

Operational Capabilities:
The biggest non-capital ship in the KCDI, Harkanos are the undertakers of many enemy capital ships.  Though their speed leaves a bit to be desired, their incredible array of firepower and defenses makes them lethal to even the largest ships.  Despite their large size, and high cost, there are many Harkanos in service in the KCDI Fighter Forces.
