Unit Outline:
    A mythological warrior said to aide those on a righteous quest, the Shanra was said to help its companion through battles and never be touched.  Though no fighter is impervious, the Shanra is designed to do the most damage to enemies, and still get the pilot home.  It good armament, and powerful defensive system make it deadly against any threat.

System Specifications:
    The main weapons of the Shanra are a trio of Space Grasers.  These S-Grasers have a longer range, and are much more powerful than their land based cousins, but have a significantly reduced rate of fire.
    The most powerful and long ranged weapon of the Shanra is the 2-tube Space MicroFusion missle launcher.  A more powerful, farther ranged version of the standard MF, the SMF-2 has an extremely long range and its accuracy and power is incredible.  It is the main weapons against capital ships.
    The Shanra is protected by 6 tons of ArMax armor, as well as a Type 10 HiCS System.  This combination of good armor and shielding gives the Shanra the ability to take a beating, give one, and come home in one piece.

    The premier fighter of the KCDI Fighter Forces, Shanras are very versatile and powerful fighters.  Their near perfect combination of speed, weapons, and armor/shielding make them a threat to any enemy.  Shanras are used not only for fighter/bomber fighting and capital ship attack, but are also well suited for support of Ground Forces.
