History: Sabretooth was one of the first enemies of the original X-Men and the personal nemesis of Wolverine, one of their early members. A homicidal psychopath, Victor's greatest joy is killing, and he excels in his art.

Victor was abused throughout his childhood by his godfearing parents, and while he finally escaped the damage had been done. Victor embarked on an odyssey of life that took him from a career as a serial killer in New York to the CIA to Canada's Department H and his first meeting with Wolverine to a membership in the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants. Always a murderer first and foremost, Creed made a name for himself as the most brutal mutant on the face of the earth. He fathered a son, anti-mutant icon Graydon Creed, and was a member of X-Factor for a short time as a sleeper agent implanted by the U.S. government.

Sabretooth fought long and hard against the X-Men, but none of them met their eventual end by his hand. As mutants retreated back into hiding in the face of humanity's hatred, the world largely passed Victor Creed by. He plied his trade as a skilled assassin, most of his employers not knowing or not caring that he was a mutant. Eventually Adrienne Poe and the Eclipse Army came onto Creed's radar, and he met with Adrienne, at first intending to kill the young woman and take over the Army to run it for profit. Creed underestimated Adrienne's gifts, however, and she nearly killed him with a telekinetic attack. Adrienne then put him to work as her third in command with the unspoken threat of execution if he tried to betray her. Creed continues to chafe under this rule, and it is only a matter of time before he finds some way of circumventing it...
