| At the most recent Galactic Senate Council held yesterday, Chancellor Palpatine showed up in a black robe and what appeared to be heavy white make-up all over his face. Immediately upon entering the Senate Council Chamber, Palpatine was met with strange looks and a galaxy-full of murmuring. An aide swiftly whispered something to the newly appointed Chancellor, who reportedly looked down at his black robes, exclaimed, "Oh, crap!" and fled from sight. A short time later, the Chancellor returned, sporting his characteristic blue garb. Chancellor Palpatine declined to comment on the issue, although several members of the Jedi Council stated that there was probably nothing to worry about, as they doubted there could be a problem that they didn't already know about. |  Palpatine was unable to provide an explanation for his strange behaviour yesterday. |
