Shows and things I have seen...
My goal in life is to watch every show ever made ever, preferably all in London. As you can see, there are only two links... this will soon be rectified.
I have actually seen the following:
- "The Phantom of the Opera", when I was 6, in London. I remember very little about this, obviously :) We saw it with the second cast, in 1987, just after it starred Michael Crawford, Sarah Brightman and Steve Barton in the lead roles... when they were replaced by Dave Willetts, Claire Moore and Michael Ball. I don't remember seeing Michael Ball... how irritating is that?! I'll be putting up some pics from that programme soon when I find it. As for the future, I am aiming to see this at Easter with a friend... but our plan for box seats may be thwarted. Rest assured there will be information about that if it ever happens on this page :)
- "Phantom" again when I was 16, in Birmingham. It was good, but it wasn't great. Hence the plan to see it in London again.
- "Cats" in Birmingham when I was 14. I fell in love with the show instantly. It wasn't a patch, however, on...
- "Cats" in London for my 16th birthday. It rocked. Seriously. My goal is to have front row seats one day so I can revolve with the stage :) "Cats" will be 20 this year, just like me.
- "Riverdance" in London. This was good. We couldn't see much, but it was still a worthwhile trip.
- "The Rocky Horror Show" when I was 16, in Birmingham. The first of two trips (the second of which is outlined in the link below) and the most fun you can have standing up. The first one was good - it was Jason Donovan... but the second one... was even better :-D
- "RHS" again, when I was 18. One big girls' night out. For our next trip, we're taking the boys... and we're all going as Magenta :)
- "Les Misérables", finally, for the first time, in London, aged 19, as outlined below. Fantastic. No other comment...
I also hope to see...
- "Whistle Down the Wind", in November, in Birmingham... if they ever reopen the frelling theatre...
- "Sunset Boulevard" in March. Again, if it ever reopens.
- Um... everything!!! (Yeah, right...)
