I can't believe I am actually going to go through with it. I am going to stand up there and marry them. The mess hall was crowded. Everyone but a small skeleton crew was there to see if the Commander really was going to marry Ali. Harry was standing up as his best man and Seven was to be the matron of honor. Neither Tom nor BÕlanna wanted to be there. They both thought the entire thing was a sham and that the captain and commander had finally gone off the deep end. The music started and like before when she married other couples, the doors opened to reveal a blushing, happy bride. Wearing a her dress uniform but with her long red hair flowing down her back. Chakotay was not even bothering to look ashamed. To any one who did not know him they would think he was perfectly happy but Kathryn could see the difference she knew he did not want o do this, not really, the only question left was, What was she going to do about it?

Kathyrn Started the reciting just as she had done many times before but this time she could not help but feel the lump form in her throat. She was determined not to give into temptation and rip that smile of AliÕs face and slap Chakotay senseless. After all this was her fault. She did push him away and she did refuse him several times when he wanted to make their relationship more permanent.
