Scream 2
This horror flick is to die for…. Literally. Scream 2 breaks the barrier of being a traditional scary movie and heads right for the top delivering an unchallenged plot that leaves you wanting more. Right from the beginning you will find yourself frozen in fear as an unknown killer terrorizes his victims one by one. Whether our cast of main characters are receiving threatening phone calls or running for their lives, you will never look away. As for the movie getting boring from time to time… It doesn't. Many movies are plagued by the "slowdown" that occurs during scenes that are filled with dialogue, but this one doesn't. The entire scream collection, (Scream, Scream 2, and Scream 3), all set the standard for all following scary movies to follow. This second installment in the Scream line up proved to be a true sequel. It seemed to depend more so on the killing part of the story line than the story itself, but still, it managed to keep the entangled plot that we have grown to love. In this movie there seems to be two killers at first, this time, you will have no idea who they are which is a good thing. At the very end you will find yet another surprise as the story is filled in by one of the killers. Scream 2 is an overall great movie. A trait that is rarely found in sequels.
