A Quick Guide To Rebecca's Highlander Opinions I know there are pages of essays or more honestly labeled rants about the Highlander things people love and hate. I could take up your time with pages on what a great guy Methos is and how much I hate Horton, but I've decided not to waste both our time like that. I'm just going to give you a bunch of lists so you can quickly see if we have anything in common. These lists will cover how I rank the seasons, the episodes I love and hate, and the characters I love (and love to hate) and *just* hate. There will be some editorializing because I can't resist, but I hope this will spare us from uncomfortable, "I love that character! Oh? I could really do without him," discussions.
One Warning: These opinions are of course subject to change.
The Seasons
1. First Season
(The reason I watched third season, and Grayson!)
2. Fourth Season
("Methuselah's Gift", "Till Death", "Deliverance", etc., Methos!)
3. Second Season
(Richie's an Immortal?! And Marcus Constantine!)
4. Fifth Season
(Upside "Comes a Horseman", "Revelation 6:8", "Forgive Us Our Trespasses", etc., Methos! / Downside Ahriman, Cassandra, and did I mention Ahriman?)
5. Sixth Season (Upside "Indiscretions", "To Be", "Not To Be" / Downside not one but two episodes of Ahriman!)
6. Third Season (Upside "Methos", "Take Back the Night", "Finale" / Downside "Samurai", "Line of Fire", *and* Dr. Anne Lindsay.)The Episodes I Love
1. "The Gathering" (A series could be spun from the movies!)
2. "Methuselah's Gift" ("You try being her!" - Methos)
3. "Band of Brothers" (Grayson, Grayson, Grayson!)

1. The Ahriman Story Arc (Duncan is a hero fine, the hero? Nope.)
2. "The Samurai"/"Line of Fire" (Rewriting canon sucks.)
3. "Star-Crossed" (Bringing a character back just to off him sucks. And *I* liked Fitz *the first* time I saw him .)
4. "Mountain Men" (Yes it has Tessa. Yes it has Wes Studi. But "the mountain men"?)
