Is Treize a villain?
Might as well start with a tough one. My answer to this would be yes and no. Yes, he is a villain, but no, he's not one of the bad guys. Huh? Basically, he has his own plans, and they are sometimes totally different than what Romefellor wants. He has a deep-rooted ideal for peace, and his own plan on how to achieve it. So, even though he's a villain in the story, his ultimate goal is good.
Is Treize gay?
NO! If anything, he's one of the characters you have to wonder the least about. He defintely has something for Lady Une (and he certainly has no qualms about her seeing him in the bath). Plus, let's not forget a little someone named Leia Barton, and the little bundle of joy that resulted. Besides, I think that if the question of Treize's sexual orientation got too out of hand, someone might write him into a lemon with Duke Dermail. (Ewww! Forget I said that! Bad mental picture...)
Why does Treize give Epyon to Heero?
I'm really not sure. From what I can tell, he intended on using it himself, but when it showed that he had no future (the first sign he was going to die), he probably just decided to give it to the first Gundam pilot to come along. After all, he did program the estate computer to recognize all five. It was just luck that Heero ended up with it.
Why did Treize have to die?
I've been asking this question ever since I first saw episode 48. I never really understood Treize until then, but when he started explaining things--like how he remembers the names of everyone who dies for him--I began to know just what this guy is all about. I've only recently figured out that he had to die. He said that the fighting would not be over until he was dead, and, indeed, it took his death for Lady Une to call and end to the battle. So does he forgive Wufei? I don't think he has to. I actually think he was proud of him.
Is Tallgeese a Gundam?
While this seems more like a Zechs question, since Treize pilots Tallgeese II, I thought it fit here. No, Tallgeese is not a Gundam. The original Tallgeese, the one Zechs piloted before Wing ZERO and Epyon, was the twenty-year-old prototype for the Leo (another MS that both Zechs and Treize are masters of controlling). It's made out of basically the same stuff as the current models, but more heavily armored, explaining why it can stand more stress than the average Leo.
That's all for now.
