The days of the week were all named during the life war. Before the lifewar, days just had numbers.
Sunday - Holy to Mortinade, goddess of the sun. It commemorates the day the sun shone all night to delay the advance of an undead horde.
Monday - Money Day. A lucky day for business, lending houses stay open later. Commerates the day Reddigak, an evil general, was bribed to betray his army.
Tuesday - Named after Tuesdananna, a hero elf cleric from the Lifewar. She had long blondish red hair and worshipped Lomandronica. Saved her lover Limtordun by transplanting his pierced heart with that of an orc. Limtordun later betrayed good, and helped slay many of Tuesdanannas followers until she killed him with the jagged thigh bone of an orc. This is a bad day to marry on.
Wednesday - Wedding Day. During the lifewar the 22 companions slew a host of fire giants to rescue 23 maidens. Then they all got married and lived happily. Oh yes, the leader, Murlor, took 2 wives. Women consider him lucky but men are not so sure.
Thursday - Thunder Day - The day during the lifewar when the three thaumaturges of Lensto called down lightning to slay the Tanar'ri who were bearing down on the city of children.
Friday - Frimor the Clevers day. He defeated 11 black dragons with only an ingot of silver, a three legged cat and his neighbours shovel.
Saturday - Day the lifewar ended. The towers of green darkness tumbled, the 30 and 3 accusations were burnt and the souls of the evil were confined within the jewel of flickering shadows.
These events and others during the lifewar happened so long ago that they have ascended to legendary status. As a result, none today know where the city of lost children was or what ever happened to it, along with Lensto and the towers of green darkness. There are almost as many guesses as their are sages.
