From this moment on, I will allow no other to own me nor determine the circumstances of my life. I claim the right to choose the way I will live.
I will be bound only by my own conscience for I am the one who must forever hear its' echo.
I will honor, respect and defend my Sisters at all times, just as I will honor, respect and defend all the loved ones in my life. I swear that each Sister will be as family to me and she will not lack my help should she ask it of me. I further swear that I will defend myself and my beliefs without shame.
I renounce the inappropriate attitudes of society and claim the distinction of womanhood with pride. I take my rightful place on this earth with joy and strive always to recognize my worth. Through the bonds of this Guild, I celebrate myself and my Sisters as Modern Day Renunciates.
From this day forth my allegiance to my Oath Mother, my Oath Sisters and this Guild shall be constant and strong. I will honor them with my true spirit and heart as I honor the loved ones that I care for in my everyday life.
I swear to abide by The Guildhouse Rules and uphold the ideals of Modern Day Renunciates. Should I fail to uphold this Oath, I swear I shall willingly submit myself to the judgement of The Council and will accept their decision with grace and dignity, even if it results in my removal from The Guildhouse
