I wound up with an extra Qui-Gon since the Fan Club loves to two pack things. I bought a Classic 8 Luke and head swaped. Unforunatly, the head pins were different so I had to glue the head to the neck. I painted the boots brown so the outfit looks similar to Obi-Wan's in Phantom Menace. I then cut off all the hair except for a single padawan braid. I gave him a blue saber, mirroring Luke's transition from blue to green saber.I also attempted to shave him, but it's a little rough looking. I'll have to change it.
UPDATED - The now suddendly defunct HoloNetNews had a shot of Qui-Gon as a Padawan, something I never thought I'd actually see. He looks pretty different from my custom, but I don't feel like changing it :)
