My first in a series of three customs made from a single Star Trek Micro Machine. For some odd reason, Galoob's Cloud City is actually based on a Ralph McQuarrie pre-production painting. After noticing that the top of the station looked exactly like Cloud City (and since ILM did effects for the early Star Trek movies, I figure it's more than coincidence) I pulled it off, stuck wall putty in the hole and then stuck in a Q-Tip stick. Then I did a repaint, and to get it's bizzare coloring, first did brown, then light blue, then a brown brushing and finally a white coating. I've pictured my custom, Galoob's original, a shot from the movie, McQuarrie's painting and finally, the original station.
