I don't really know much about the DarkStryder series besides a few summeries I've read, but I saw this ref pic on Mike Miller's custom page at Artoo's Customs and so I decided I'd do it (he's grabbed plenty of my figs for inpiration, so now I'm finallyreturning the favor ;). Luckily Hasbro's upcoming Sandtrooper 4 pack rendered one of my Sandtropers obsolete, so I made this fig right away.
