A realized that the Republic pilots in the begining of Phantom are wearing uniforms identical to those of the Empire, only they're blue and don't have any rank insignia (nice job Lucas! Nice eyes me!) The co-pilot also has a Tarkin-ish face, so I sanded down his rank badge, painted his uniform blue, and gave him that funky bowl cut.
