I'm not sure why this droid is labeled as an R3 Unit, as R3's are supposed to have clear heads. He's basically R2-D2 with a red and white head and I believe some tubes sticking out of him, but I can't really tell from the photo. Personally I think the whoel R1/2/3/4/5/6/7/etc. naming convention is silly. I thought Lucas considered all of the droids with the same barrel body to be R2 units - the head is just as much of a difference as the paint.
