I remember writing down that there was a red X-Wing in I, Jedi, but I negelcted to write down the pages it was on, and I've since forgotten who owns it and what scene it's in. I'll be going back to try and find it at some point.
UPDATE - Found it! Wrong book though. Plat Mallar steals his Captain's red painted X-Wing and flies it against the Yevetha. Oddly enough, he's a Gran who was still living with the Empire. You'd think that aliens would have left the Empire by 12 years after it's defeat, seeing as how it's pro-xenocide and all...
