I think this was meant to be Lak Sivrak, but since he'd've been with the Rebellion at the time, it can't be him. Of course it could've been had the Mos Eisley once shot (which unlike the book dealt with no one seen in the cantina during ANH, but rather told stories about three people never seen before or since) been set during ANH. Rather it's inexplicably set during Shadows of the Empire.
