Way way back in the mid-ninties Galoob released thier Series Alpha line of concept vehicles. Basically you got a repainted Action Fleet vehicle with a smaller concept vehicle, and one regular pilot and one concept pilot. Of course the conpect vehicle was too small to hold a figure, and none of the concept figures ever appeared in any concept artwork. I'd always wanted to make some Series Alpha repaints, but I kept coming up with other figures that I wanted to make more (kinda like how Hasbro took ten years to get up a new R5-D4)
