Gotta love the R3s! Sadly, R3-T7 is a very unique R3 unit. No R3s in the classic trilogy (there are none in TPM) have anything on their domes at all. Well, a few, and only a few, have paint on their domes, but none have the rectangular eyeport (a'la R2 and R4 units) they just have a radar eye on the dome itself. I only cut one off successfully once, and this one wasn't it. I actually wound up ripping a hole in the dome itself, so I tried to cover by painting a white rectangle and glueing the top of the dome over the hole as the radar eye. Oops.
