Yes, I did a custom from the Droids cartoon. One of the pirate groups they run into, run by Kybo Ren, uses TIEs that have a red skull-type thingy painted on the wing panels (once again destroying thier use as solar collectors.)
UPDATED - After a reviewing of the episode I repainted the symbol to be more accurate.
