Decipher is usually pretty good when it comes to accuracy, but they kinda screwed things up in their Death Star II expansion. Kin Kian is sown to be some white guy with a buzzcut. Kin Kian is first mentioned in the Rogue Comics. In a briefing with Rogue, and Aggressor Squadrons there is a Sullustan with his back turned towards us. Later, after the attack, Kin Kian's partner (he's the gunner ina two seater Y-Wing) tell of how she was shot down and he was killed. In the backseat of the crashed Y-Wing is the silhouette of a Sullustan. So while we never see his face, I'd say it's a safe bet he's Sullustan. That and the name... KIN KIAN - Hello? Doesn't seem like a Human name to me.
