Major Ryhmer was a TIE Bomber pilot stationed on the Second Death Star, who now works as a freelance bounty hunter with his partner, Avarik. They're my first 100% fictional characters made from random parts in a pretty long time. Rymer takes care of the last of my extra parts. I didn't glue of paint him in any way, so if I need any of his parts for a real custom I can take him apart, though I did paint his helmet. I wanted to show tat how the Imperial Pilot helmets were made from a Stormtrooper face plate with a black rebel helmet. The design matches that from a pilot shown in Star Wars Gamer #3. It's an interesting helmet, but since it's in black and white I didn't want to make a rebel pilot custom from him, since I didn't know the color cheme. Instead I choose to transfer the design to Ryhmer. His name is from a Decipher card in the Death Star II set, and I gave him a background story (a first for my made up characters). He was shot down and crashed landed in the woods of Endor, where he was eventually found by Corporal Avarik. Together they fixed his bomber and flew off to the outer rim to bounty hunt. Ryhmer also replaced teh top of his cracked helmet with one from a crashed X-Wing pilot. He's made from the following: TIE Pilot head, Tessek torso, arms and legs, and Cantina Band Member shirt - which gives him a bare chest and gold chain look which I think is pretty funny looking. He has Admiral Akbar's gun, and Lak Sivrak's vibroblade, because you'll notice he has no hands. Basically I ran out of hands. When X-Wing Luke comes out and I can finish my alien pilot customs, he'll get hands, till then they're hidden under his fierce looking weapons. Hmm, this has got to be longest figure description I've ever written.
